4 Months

Here's to 2014 Baby! 

This first month has been pretty great. Besides having to go back to work ~ I think we've managed to continue living life to the fullest and enjoying every moment with you ~ our sweet little love nugget.

Here are some highlights of the 4th month of your life:

• Michigan State went to the ROSE BOWL!! Uncle Michael and your Grandpa John WENT TO THE GAME! They said it was epic and they had the best time.

• We took YOU to the Front Door with all of our friends for one last great night before they all had to go back home.....we reserved the back room and had a total blast. We asked Ang and Jaspur that night if they would be your Godparents ~ they said yes! More on that later.....But you are such an awesome baby ~ always happy, always smiling, hardly ever fussy.

• You ROLLED OVER for the first time!! It was so exciting and we love observing you grow. You are very strong!
• Going back to work was a little rough - just figuring out the schedule and fitting everything in....Being a working Mommy is not easy.....but I sure do look forward to seeing you every afternoon. The fact that you are sleeping through the night (since 7 weeks old is ridiculously amazingly helpful)
• You really like reading books together, esp with Daddy. 

• You make a really cute flirty face and shrink back when we smile really big.

• You went through a little phase of sleeping on your belly ~ it was short lived ~ but earned you the nickname 'The Beetle'.
• Your Great Aunt Lizzy came to visit and meet you for the first time. It was so awesome to have her here. She had a really nice visit and was so happy to snuggle with you.

• Grandpa Mack turned 96 years old!!!
• We took you to a Capital High basketball game - everyone loved seeing you of course - you really liked watching the cheerleaders - uh oh!
• Your 4 month apt with Dr. Archibald = FORMULA to fatten you up. Turns out breast feeding is pretty much over for you and me. But ~ We are determined to keep you healthy and growing like a champ. Fortunately you have taken to formula very easily.
